Ideal for those new to pottery, this workshop introduces you to the basics of wheel throwing. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or want to try something new, this hands-on session is the perfect starting point!
Session Details:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Unlimited clay provided for use
- Each participant can take home two finished pieces; additional pieces are $15 each
Experience the Process:
Your creations will dry slowly in a controlled environment before undergoing their first firing (bisque fire). We’ll then glaze your pieces with care and prepare them for the second firing (glaze fire). This process takes 4–6 weeks. If it’s been over 3 weeks, feel free to reach out for an update.
Whether you're exploring pottery as a new hobby or simply looking for a fun and creative activity, this workshop will leave you with beautiful, handmade pieces and a memorable experience!
Preparation and Items to Bring:
1.Dress in clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
2.We will supply an apron, but you are welcome to bring your favorite one if you prefer!
3.Please trim your nails and keep your hair tiedback.
*Please note that during the ceramics process, there is a chance of breakage at the firing, glazing, and finishing stages. Although our team diligently works to ensure your pieces are completed safely, unexpected incidents can occur. The color of the glaze may not be 100% accurate due to the nature of glaze and firing.
