Beginner Workshop - Hand Building
Beginners' workshop for hand-building mugs, bowls, and plates. The focus will be on utilizing various tools such as rolling pins, slip, and a banding wheel. Please note that this class will not cover wheel throwing techniques.
- Session: 2 hours session
- You will be provided unlimited clay to use.
- Each person will be able to bring home 1 pieces. Additional pieces will cost $15
*Ceramic work need to slowly dry in a controlled environment before first firing (bisque fire). We glaze everyone's work with love and care before sending them to the second firing (glaze fire). The whole process can take up to 4 weeks. However, if you have waited for more than 3 weeks, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Preparation and Items to Bring:
1.Dress in clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
2.We will supply an apron, but you are welcome to bring your favorite one if you prefer!
3.Please trim your nails and keep your hair tiedback.
*Please note that during the ceramics process, there is a chance of breakage at the firing, glazing, and finishing stages. Although our team diligently works to ensure your pieces are completed safely, unexpected incidents can occur. The color of the glaze may not be 100% accurate due to the nature of glaze and firing.
