4 week Hand building workshop package

This package is intended for those who wish to learn about ceramics but with no electric wheel involved. This class is great for beginners or those who wish to get better at hand building. Hand building is a great way for those who enjoy a more organic look to their art. 

Day 1.
Slab Building and attaching.
You will be learning how to make simple forms first such as a mug. We will be going over how to attach different parts together and understand how the clay can bind together successfully 

Day 2 
Coil Building and understanding structure .
You will be learning how to make coils and how to attach coils efficiently and how to prevent cracking

Day 3.
Press molds and Nekromi (mixed clay)
You will be learning how to make different colour clay and able to make patterns with 2 types of clay.

Day 4
Pinch building and glazing
You will be learning how to pinch build and we will also go over how to glaze and finish your work

How to Book the class dates?

Please select a date that would work for you, this will be the day you come in every week at the same time and same day. Example if you select Monday at 12pm your lessons will be everyday on Monday at 12pm for 4 weeks. 

Practice sessions?

Practice sessions will be on the same day before or after class if it is convenient for you. If practice sessions do not work on the same day we will discuss in person and have written communications with you before or after you class as to what would work for your schedule.
