Beginner Hand-Building Ceramics Package: Embrace Organic Forms

This package is perfect for those who want to explore ceramics without using an electric wheel. Ideal for beginners or those looking to improve their hand-building techniques, this class offers a more organic approach to creating art, emphasizing texture and form.

What’s Included:

• 4 two-hour lecture and practical sessions with a dedicated instructor
• 4 supervised practice sessions with an instructor available for guidance and demonstrations
• 10 kg of clay

Day 1. Slab Building and Attaching.

You will be learning how to make simple forms first such as a mug. We will be going over how to attach different parts together and understand how the clay can bind together successfully 

Goal: Making 1 mug

Day 2: Coil Building and understanding structure.

You will be learning how to make coils and how to attach coils efficiently and how to prevent cracking.

Goal: Making one Large vase

Day 3: Press molds and Nekromi (mixed clay)

You will be learning how to make different colour clay and able to make patterns with 2 types of clay.

Day 4: Flower making with porcelain

You will be learning how to make flowers and petals with no molds involved. We will give you several flower you can choose from and will be working on making those together

How to Book Your Class Dates

1. Choose a date from our booking system that works best for you. This will become your weekly class day.
2. Once you've selected your date, we will contact you to confirm your booking.
3. If you have any scheduling conflicts, please email us after booking your initial date, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Practice Sessions

Practice sessions are typically scheduled on the same day as your class, either before or after, for your convenience. If same-day practice sessions aren’t feasible, we’ll discuss alternative arrangements with you in person and follow up in writing to ensure the schedule works for you.
