I pursued a master's degree in food science and chemistry in Canada, but my journey led me to ceramics. The pandemic disrupted my career, and I turned to ceramics as an outlet. I discovered the chemistry of clay and glaze aligned with my studies, and a trip to Jing De Zhen, China deepened my passion.

I believe clay is a versatile creative outlet, inspired by my Chinese heritage and love for tea culture. My pieces reflect the importance of vessels in tea enjoyment. I value the tactile experience of clay; it's not just about the visual, but the feel in your hands. I aim to inspire others to embrace this medium for artistic expression and share in the appreciation and patience it takes to create and use clay vessels.
